Our inspections cover the condition of equipment and can include load tests and geometrical measurements. Compliance Inspections for Overhead Cranes Safety and productivity are the most important concerns when conducting inspections. Annual Load Certification Inspections

Visual Operational/Inspection:

Visually inspect rigging and slings
Visually inspect crane, hoist and hook
Condition and operation; sound tests, cracks, wear, leaks, etc.

Test operation functions and limits – including load brake and motor brake function

Pendants – proper identification, labels and operation
Check fluid levels
Record and report; condition, work done, actions required/repairs needed

Comprehensive PM Inspection

Full inspection of crane, hoist and hook
Identification and markings
Test operation functions and limits – including load brake and motor brake function
‘Covers off’ condition and operation inspection
Check and secure all wiring terminations
All electrical controls inspected for heat marks and loose hardware
Conductor bars and electrification bars inspected for wear/breaks
All motors and brushes (if applicable) inspected
All brakes cleaned and adjusted
Check all gear fluids/oil levels – inspect for leaks
Hoist wire rope or chain inspected and lubricated
Inspect load block and hook – greased if necessary
Grease wheels and bearings
Inspection of runway
All structural mounting hardware inspected and tightened

Pendants – proper identification, labels and operation
Record and report; condition before/after, work done, actions required/repairs needed
